If anyone ever lived their life the way they wanted to, it is Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman. The five-time NBA champion got a lot of flak from different sections of society, but he didn’t care as he was comfortable in his own skin. Back in the 90s, his name couldn’t be kept out of the news and his face out of entertainment magazines. The player was an enigma. However, he didn’t lose an ounce of performance whenever he played for the Bulls.
All these years later, he still cannot be kept out of trending topics as he joins seven other celebrities in the VH1 reality TV show ‘The Surreal Life’. The five-time NBA champion is the same as he is everywhere, and that became a little too much to handle for adult movie star Stormy Daniels.
Dennis Rodman on ‘The Surreal Life’
Dennis Rodman has been an entertaining character off-court and an amazing player on it. The Bulls no. 91 won three consecutive NBA championships with the Bulls for the three seasons he played with the Chicago side. The two-time NBA All-Star retired at the turn of the century, with a stellar career anyone would be proud of.
The two-time NBA defensive player of the year was ahead of his time. His thoughts and acts are something that would be readily accepted in today’s day and age, but were outrageous during his playing days.
The Bulls legend is appearing on the show alongside seven other celebrities, including adult movie star Stormy Daniels.
Stormy Daniels while speaking to Scott Fishman of TV Insider said some things about her first impressions of the contestants on the show, including Dennis Rodman. “The cool thing was got to know Frankie and not Malcolm. You don’t walk in and see him and not know who he is. We only know that one aspect,” she said, talking about a fellow contestant. She further jokingly added “Then there are people like Rodman, who I won’t say too much about other than that he is exactly how it appears. Except without pants. I didn’t need to see all that.”
Stormy Daniels although surprised by some things, reiterated the fact that the Bulls legend wouldn’t change for anyone, making him perfect for the show.
