Megan Fox is never one to shy away from a new look. In fact, her ever-changing aesthetics can be hard to keep up with sometimes, though we're enjoying every bit of it. The actor, who is also one-half of pop culture's hottest and heaviest couple with pop punk rapper Machine Gun Kelly (Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are right there with them) — has unveiled yet another look and this time, it has taken us back to our teenage dreams.
In the poster for her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly's latest film, Good Mourning, Fox appears with a freshly-dyed fuchsia balayage. It's giving “my boyfriend is in a rock band” and frankly, we're obsessed. Especially as she's sporting a small crop top and a casual pair of jeans to go with the new ‘do. It screams ’90s high school drama!
While Fox is all about keeping up with Gen-Z trends, much of which you can find on TikTok, this is the biggest hair transformation we've seen from her in a while. She's usually pretty loyal to her long dark locks, wearing them in long layers or even with extra length for the XXL hair trend everyone is obsessed with at the moment.
However, hot pink hair is something she and her future husband are both into, as he dyed his hair a similar hue just a month ago during a performance at music festival Lollapalooza Argentina in March.
The new movie Fox is promoting is Machine Gun Kelly's directorial debut stars Kim Kardashian's boyfriend Pete Davidson, Dove Cameron, and singer Becky G. The stoner comedy is set to follow the main character (played by Machine Gun Kelly) having the “worst day ever”, which could really mean anything.
Sharing the news of the movie on Instagram, Fox wrote on her Instagram story last week (14 April): “Good Mourning — a stoner comedy starring all these talented people, and my six pack."
The couple got engaged in January after drinking each other's blood and have been love's young dream ever since, often appearing in public together and dabbling in PDA. Fox revealed the bizarre ritual the two bonded over, telling her followers on Instagram:
"In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma. Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.…and then we drank each other’s blood."
Speaking of their upcoming nuptials, Machine Gun Kelly said that his best friend Pete Davidson would absolutely be involved in the wedding. “I think Pete’s absolutely gonna be standing there with me,” the ‘Emo Girl’ singer said. “We should just mic him for commentary anyway.”
