Charles McFee, 26, admitted Tuesday to bringing Desiree Robinson to a pimp named Joseph Hazley in December 2016 in exchange for the small fee.

'He felt badly about this,' said McFee's attorney, Christopher Graul, to CBS Chicago. 'No one wants to pick up a 16-year-old girl and have her killed.'

The young girl's body was found in a Markham garage on Christmas Eve in 2016 with her throat slit and her body badly beaten.

After McFee took Robinson to Hazley, the pimp is said to have sold the teen to her alleged killer, Antonio Rosales, using a Backpage.com page. He has been charged with her murder in a state court.

Hazley was said to be living in a car with his girlfriend when the girl was murdered.

While charges are still pending for the pimp, McFee is expected to testify against Hazley so that he can get a third of his sentenced slashed. He would then only face between six to eight years behind bars.

But McFee claims he never did get the compensation he was promised. Hazley was said to have complained that the teen would not make 'as much money as he hoped.' He added that Robinson's clothing, hair and makeup were all expensive.

'He's not saying 'Feel sorry for me,' Graul added of his client, according to the Chicago Sun Times. 'He feels sorry for the family. He feels sorry for the girl.'

She was slated to offer 'companionship' on her Backpage.com and was to go on several dates a day. Hazley acted as her security detail and drove her to her appointments.

Federal investigators found that McFee took Robinson to Hazley on December 1, 2016. On that day, she was said to have messaged him on Facebook and said: 'I am joining his team.'

“Just don’t forget who yo daddy is n change up on me or start acting funny toward me cuz u joining his team don’t mean you nun u still mine don’t every forget that we n this together right baby girl,” McFee allegedly responded.

He would later message another woman on the platform, stating 'they be trying to low ball her that why he can't pay me.'

McFee followed up with a 'Did you hear?' when the girl was found murdered.

“Yes I did she f*****g 16 dude the hell u bring him a 16 year old for the f**k,” she responded, adding: How stupid can u be.'

He was said to have said back: 'I didn't even kno she lie about her age.'
