Its a boy! Singer Jo Dee Messina and her husband Chris Deffenbaugh have welcomed their second son, her rep confirms to PEOPLE. Jonah Christopher was born Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 2:43 p.m. in Nashville and weighed in at 6 lbs., 13 oz.

Big brother Noah Roger, 3, welcomed the new addition with open arms.

“Noah couldn’t wait to hold his little brother,” the country crooner, 41, says in a statement. “He’s so good with him. God has blessed us so much.”

Messina and Deffenbaugh, who wed in 2007, announced the pregnancy in October.
