Still only 28 years of age, ‘the Scientist’ may find plenty of time to find the love of his life. However, that may have seemed the case only till recently when the Golfer broke up with his long-time girlfriend Sophie Phalen Bertolami last year.
But the LIV Golf star didn’t spend much time being single as he now dates a college senior named Hunter Nugent. So when it comes to whether or not Bryson DeChambeau is married, the answer is no. However, is he in a relationship, yes.
Who is Bryson DeChambeau’s girlfriend?
The Canadian Hunter Nugent, who competes at The University of Texas at San Antonio, is an elite golfer herself. Though it was unclear if the couple were dating, it became quite obvious when Nugent posted an Instagram story in February this year. The post consisted of a Valentine’s Day bouquet of followers that DeChambeau sent her earlier this year.
Senior at UTSA, Nugent has a big Instagram following and is active on social media. She is also ranked among the top 900 amateur golfers in the world. Before enrolling at The University of Texas at San Antonio, it appears that Nugent began her academic career at the University of Indianapolis.
In addition to being affiliated with fit4ore, and Pinned Golf, a rangefinder manufacturer, Nugent is also a Full Wedge athlete. Nugent has already viewed DeChambeau in action when competing in tournaments. Nugent posted a picture montage video on Instagram including DeChambeau in a selfie and a video of him lining up a putt while she was present at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
It is quite adorable that both of them share the same emotion and feeling toward the sport of golf. In case Nugent does make it to the LGPA Tour, the couple could eventually become a power couple in the world of golf. However, there still is a long road for ahead for both DeChambeau and Nugent.
