Anton Yelchin, who died in a freak car accident Sunday, leaves behind several completed films and a high-profile animated TV show that have not yet been released.
Most notably, Yelchin will be seen next reprising his role as Pavel Chekov in Paramount’s “Star Trek Beyond,” which debuts on July 22. It’s the third time he’s starred as the Russian ensign since Paramount re-booted the franchise in 2009, then released “Star Trek Into Darkness” in 2013.
Yelchin also stars in Netflix’s upcoming animation series “Trollhunters” for Guillermo del Toro and DreamWorks Animation, which premieres in December. He voices the lead role, Jim, in series opposite the voices of Kelsey Grammer and Ron Perlman. The announcement was made last week at France’s Annecy Festival and marks Del Toro’s first work for kids and families.

Del Toro tweeted a tribute to Yelchin: “Anton was a sweetheart. Absolutely a great creative partner and artist. The sweetest, most humble, delightful, talented guy you’d ever meet. Worked together for about a year. Shocked.”
Yelchin had also recently completed filming the psychological thriller “Thoroughbred” for June Pictures and B Story. He starred opposite Olivia Cooke and Anya Taylor-Joy, with Cory Finley making his directorial debut from a script based on his play about a tempestuous friendship between two suburban teenage girls.
The young actor had also completed filming the sci-fi drama “Rememory” opposite Peter Dinklage, in a story about a professor who mysteriously dies on the eve of releasing his life-changing invention.
Yelchin had also shot two other independent titles that have not yet been released — the family drama “We Don’t Belong Here” opposite Catherine Keener; and “Porto,” a romance-drama set in the Portuguese city of Porto.
