2 musicians sue rapper

A pair of aspiring musicians have sued rap artist Marion Knight, a k a Suge Knight, for allegedly pulling a gun on them, beating them and stealing a wallet. A pair of aspiring musicians have sued rap artist Marion Knight, a k a Suge Knight, for allegedly pulling a gun on them, beating them and stealing a wallet.

George and Lynwood Stanley, in a complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, said they were at a recording studio at 1635 Cahuenga Blvd. last July at the invitation of rap artist Andre Young, a k a Dr. Dre, when Knight got into an argument with Lynwood over use of a phone.

Knight subsequently pulled a gun, forced the plaintiffs into the studio area, ordered them to take off their clothes and fired a shot to frighten them, the suit said.

Knight also struck the Stanleys repeatedly, the complaint claimed, stole Lynwood’s wallet and threatened to kill their families if they didn’t forget about the incident.

The suit seeks $ 10 million in compensatory damages and unspecified punitive damages. Also named defendants are Young, Death Row Records Inc., Solar Sound of Los Angeles Records Inc. and Galaxy Recording Studios Inc.
